WELCOME TO CORNERSTONE COMMUNITY CHURCH
Whether you've been attending church for years or have never set foot into a sanctuary, we hope you'll join us on Sunday to learn more about Jesus.
We’ve been a part of Topeka for over 65 years, and throughout that time we’ve been at work serving our community and spreading God’s good news throughout Topeka and throughout our world.
When you come to join us for the first time,
one of our greeters will help you find what you need. If you'd like, they'll help you find our safely run nursery, restrooms, the sanctuary, and coffee before the service. They can also direct you to our Sunday school rooms for Adult Sunday School if you'd like to join us at 9:30 A.M.
During the service,
you’ll hear our faith expressed in what we sing, how we pray, and the message. All parts of our service are grounded in the Bible, which reveals God to help us follow Him better. At Cornerstone Community Church, we are affiliated with the Mennonite Brethren denomination. You can click here to read the United States Mennonite Brethren Confession of Faith. More than anything we are seeking to live lives following Jesus, and we trust you’ll see that in our worship service.
After the service
stick around and let us get to know each other. Say hello to one of our pastors and anyone else you see. We’d love to hear your story and share our story with you.
No matter what your background, faith story, or anything else, we hope you’ll join us on Sunday. At Cornerstone Community Church you’ll find all kinds of people who have been drawn together by following Jesus. We welcome everybody-including you. Our worship service starts at 10:45 a.m. every Sunday morning.
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds”
At Cornerstone Community Church, our goal is to connect to God, to others, and to our mission. Our ministries help us live out this goal.
At Cornerstone our volunteers have a heart for kids, God’s Word, and sharing His love. It is our desire to make a difference in the life of every child that passes through our doors. Our volunteers go through a vetting process, and have completed a background check as part of their training. For Cornerstone Kids it is all about loving God and others.
At Cornerstone Youth we want to help students discover their calling and passions. We strive to teach students how to use their passions to glorify the Kingdom of God. We want them to be transformed radically by Jesus Christ. We know that a relationship with Jesus is intensely personal and looks different for every student. We seek to create a safe, loving, and supportive environment for each student to flourish and grow.
Small Group Ministry
Connecting with each other is important for our faith journey and to live a good and full life. Our small groups gather to have fellowship, pray for each other, and study a variety of topics.
We know that God calls us to serve Him by serving others. We have several ways to serve, including feeding people at the Topeka Rescue Mission, helping people who have gone through disasters with Mennonite Disaster Service, and many other ways. Contact our office to find out other ways that we serve our community.
